Our August dance will be held on Saturday August 10th at 7:00 PM. The lesson will be Cha Cha and will be taught by Phillip Fusaro.
September 7th
In September we will be celebrating Ballroom Dance Week by offering our members and the public, a set of two work shops. One on Waltz and the second on Rumba. These lessons will be on the same day as our September dance, September 7th, and Karen Thomas will be teaching both lessons. The Waltz work shop starts at 4:00 pm and runs until 4:45 and the Rumba work shop starts at 5:00 pm and runs until 5:45. The cost of each workshop lesson is $15 for non-members and FREE for USA Dance members. If you are not a USA Dance member and sign up to become a member at the work shop, the lessons will be FREE and the the admission to the dance will also be FREE.
Finger foods and water will be available at the work shop and the dance. Dance demos will be given at the dance by some of our members.
There will also be a FREE dance lesson, Polka, starting at 7:00pm being taught by Karen Thomas. Open dancing will begin at 8:00 pm after the lesson. This will be a must see so please plan on attending the September dance.
October 12th
In October our dance will be on the 12th. Our Free lesson is hustle and will be taught by Karen Thomas.
February 8th
The February dance held on February 8th will be our Winter Ball. The theme will be Dancing at a French Chateau and will be held at the BRIX & COLUMNS winery 1501 Dave Berry Rd, McGaheysville. This dance will be sponsored by Valley Honda 296 Lee Jackson Hwy, Staunton and is sure to be a romantic festival. There will be dancing showcases, great music, food and available beverages. More information will be posted as the date comes closer.
